Terrafirma Hydraulic bump stops require a serious mounting kit. To withstand the punishment associated with hammering over bumps and jumps considerable work has been involved in the production of these mounting kits.
The rear hydraulic bump stop mounting kits for the Discovery 2 include a pair of 2” travel threaded bump stops which allow for set up adjustment, again designed to be a bolt on kit with minimal modification, the rear mounting kit operates within the rear coil spring with the lower spring plate acting as a spring retainer and contact patch for the bump stop. These kits allow for a much more aggressive high-speed approach to off-roading.
