This heavy duty spare wheel carrier is designed to carry a Renault Master 5 x 130 PCD wheel. Made from 6 mm thick zinc plated then powder coated steel they come complete with 2 x 3mm thick internal support bars, 6 x M10x30 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers, and, 3 x M14x1.5 wheel nuts (suitable for steel wheels). This carrier is ideal for camper vans, horse box conversions, day vans, in fact any Renault Master where you need to mount the spare wheel on the rear exterior door (or to any panel that has sufficient strength to carry the weight!).
Due to the fact that there are several placement options available on your van additional bracing or longer bolts maybe required to suit your personal location preference.
We highly recommend fitting is undertaken by a competent person due to the dangers involved in fitting a heavy item to the outside of a vehicle.
What does PCD mean?
PCD is short for Pitch Circle Diameter, which is the diameter of the circle that passes through the centre of the bolt holes or studs on a hub or drum. This is the same as the mounting holes on a wheel rim.
How do I calculate the PCD?
The PCD or Pitch Circle Diameter can be calculated by using some simple formulas depending on how many studs, wheel bolts or bolt holes there are.
If ‘S’ is the distance between two adjacent studs/bolts or holes (measured in millimetres) then the PCD would be:
5 studs/bolts or Holes = S ÷ 0.5878
